The YESS peer mentoring program is built around flexibility depending on where and how the program is deployed. We bring our expert knowledge on youth development and mentoring, family outreach support–all to the highest CASEL standards– to your school. The program includes:
Healthy Lifestyles 3.0 is a cannabis early-prevention curriculum uniquely designed for youth in grades 6-8. The goal of this curriculum is to educate youth about the marijuana issues they are (or will be) confronting and equip them with tools to address these challenges.
YESS also offers Healthy Lifestyles 3.0 eLearning, a highly interactive eLearning simulation that helps youth make healthy choices and build valuable life skills. This 9-level eLearning curriculum is designed to educate youth about the marijuana issues they are (or will be) confronting and equip them with tools they need to address these challenges.
The curriculum is aligned with positive youth development best practices in Program Quality Assessment (PQA), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and National Health Education standards that value the role and importance of youth being in control of their decision-making.
Each lesson provides a familiar routine: opening/warm-up activity, youth-driven activity options, and a personal or group reflection opportunity. The approach to Healthy Lifestyles 2.0 is inquiry-based and student-driven: lessons promote a trusting, safe environment that encourages discussion and discovery through fun, peer-led activities.
Road to Success is an expertly designed social-emotional learning curriculum, informed by the five core competencies of Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning and aligned with Colorado Department Education academic standards. Each lesson is intentionally constructed to provide every student with essential social-emotional tools for lifelong success in school, relationships, and life.
