Colorado Gives Day 2023 was a testament to the power of community. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised $50,880 from 87 donations, including contributions from 24 first-time donors. These numbers are more than just statistics; they represent the dedication of individuals like you who believe in the transformative power of education and mentorship.
Your donations directly supported our work with students, helping us expand our reach and deepen our impact. Every dollar contributed brought us closer to achieving our mission of empowering youth through social-emotional learning, academic support, and leadership development.
Empowering Youth Through Education
At the YESS Institute, we believe education is a cornerstone for success, and the past year has reinforced this belief. We were privileged to serve 638 students across nine schools in Denver, providing them with mentorship, academic guidance, and life skills to navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
One of our most remarkable accomplishments last year was achieving a 100% graduation rate among our seniors. This milestone reflects the dedication of our students, the unwavering support of our mentors, and the generosity of donors like you who make it all possible.
Every student we serve has a unique story, and your support helps us provide the tools and resources they need to thrive. From overcoming personal struggles to setting ambitious goals for the future, these students embody resilience and determination.

Your contributions also allowed us to invest directly in the futures of our students. Last year, we awarded $30,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. These scholarships are more than financial aid—they are a vote of confidence in our students’ potential to excel in higher education and beyond.
